Welcome to the website of the European Geothermal Workshop 2023

The European Geothermal workshop aims at discussing new approaches, methods, or data in the fields of deep geothermal reservoirs for energy exploitation as well high temperature energy storage. It proposes a platform of scientific exchange, especially between PhD students and scientists,  and to present latest findings and results achieved in national and international , in particular EU-funded, research and demonstration projects.

The European Geothermal Workshop (EGW) is organized bi-yearly in different countries by members of the EERA Joint Program of Geothermal Energy (Geothermal – Home (eera-geothermal.eu)).

The 2023 European Geothermal Workshop will take place in the Netherlands, at Utrecht University campus,                      November 8-9, 2023.
